why was my weekend wasted? well.. aside from not staying at home(although hanging out was cool), my night was totally wasted.. i had to attend my mom's cousin's son's wedding.. which.. technically, it's my cousin's wedding.. the reason why i dislike it.. was because.. i never spoken to this cousin before..
you can say.. we're super distant cousin.. in my whole life.. yesterday was the first time i talked to him.. and it was only words of thanks.. gee.. really wasted my night..
well.. there were other downsides to that wedding..
but i shan't criticize anymore..
all i have to say is... if that was my wedding..
i rather call it off.. haha :P
didn't take any photos of the event.. no point also ;)

Held at the grand copthrone waterfront hotel.. just right beside Zouk.. so.. i guess thats why they will hold their honeymoon :P

on my way back.. i notice a mini cooper with a rather.. well.. if you understand the language.. you'll find out what i meant.. i won't mind having this number on my number plate!.

and thus end my rather.. fruitless nor fruitful weekend..

My Name Is Milano!

Recently, i caught season 3 of My Name Is Earl, and surprisingly there was a guest star i didn't expect!!..
i'll let the photos do the talking..

WIth actors like Jason Lee, Nadine Velazquez, Eddie Steeples, Ethan Suplee (i don't really like Jamie Pressly), adding Alyssa Milano into it's cast is gonna make the show a whole lot interesting, not to mention a certain cameo of a certain prison series...
but still, nevertheless, if you haven't heard of this series, give it a try.. it's has a rather moving and motivating storyline.. in the late seasons, and has it's element of redneck comedy and such..

pity Alyssa only appeared on season3.. well, Nadine was there for 3 whole seasons.. ohh yea.. and Jason Lee.. yes definitely Jason Lee.. Hilarious, i tell you!!..

Yuki-astic!

I Finally got myself Figma's Yuki!! took me awhile to get it..
decided to try out the G10 on the figurine..

didn't get nice shots..
but i've gotten lazy even since NS started..
you just wanna slack with every single second you have ;)

aye aye..
enough rambling!!
here's some shots then!!

The macro feature of the G10.. works like a charm, it's starting effective range is around 5 cm, which pretty much works for close up shots! and not forgetting the defocus effect!.. sweet stuff i must say..

haven't really played with the other effects like color accent, or color tint effects.. and the other white balance, but i'm getting there somehow.. gotta go out more often to shoot stuff...

or i can just get more figurines...
hmmm :P

Thinkpad W700

One can never complain about a new labtop, and being a fan of IBM.. this particular model is a desktop replacement, with 4gb of ram, a rather powerful gfx and processor, i think it might even surpass my own desktop.. the unique factor of this model is.. that.. it comes with a wacom pad!!.. for all your graphical editing needs!!(and others)... bad thing..

this costs more than the DSLR.. ranging about 5-6K sgd.. sigh.. keep dreaming...
