Fourteen September, Two Thousand Seven
Guang Zhou
Morning
Location : In The Midst Of Waking Up.
Slept at 2am last night, woke up at 7am this morning.. was told that we will be having dim sum brunch.. mmm.. brunch.. thinking about that made me fall back to sleep.. only to wake up at 9am..
i ended up being the only one sleeping..
everyone was pacing around..ha..
Rushed out of the apartment...
Thankfully.. i packed my stuff last night
Headed down to shopping mall with the rest
in our usual transports.. the taxi!
We headed to this restaurant..
which concept was rather cool..
dark lights..
tables on the sides..
in the middle was this long walk way..
like those you see in fashion shows?
runways?
the whole idea was based on a fashion show..
although the waitress don't serve you the food via the walkways..
the concept was still rather cool.. with a huge ass projection screen showing
fashion shows..
and with toilets like this..
A 'conceptual' mirror toilet, although it isn't a new idea.. it was rather interesting to see it..
Imagine.. looking at four walls of mirrors when you're attempting to conduct your "business"..
and then.. there was the food...
GOOD SPREAD
the one rewarding thing in the morning...A dim sum brunch..
with the prawn dumplings, buns, small dragon buns, chicken feet(eww),siew mais, spring rolls.. mmmm
there is this one bun.. never ate it before.. but i found it interesting, it looks like a normal bun.. but the content inside is a whole egg yoke. And they ordered 9 of those buns.. Ugh..
then there were the other types of goodies..
Unique Shiny Bun
Brunch was good.. one of the best i had in China..the prawn dumplings were huge and juicy.. good buns.. with a nice atmosphere, friends..
and just in case a very "reflective" toilet..
What's more to ask..
Brunch..
End Of Part1
Next up, Lost in Translation.
