Thirteen September, Two Thousand Seven.
Guang Zhou.
Mid Afternoon.
Location : Attractions
Within YueXia park, there are a couple of attractions, we visited two museums (yes, we're such geeks), within the park itself... there were many hidden paths and noises..
one distinct noise that we notice comes from the top of one of the hills, we concluded that it was playing people mahjong... we didn't get to see whether what we concluded was true, but we heard it many times during our ascend up
Another thing we noticed in the park was the vast amount of make-out corners..
everywhere we went, we saw couples here and there.. there was one incident we actually walked into one couple getting it on..
We visited another museum as it came with as a package tour along with the first exhibition. The museum was a whole new game. There wasn't anyone in it except the curator.. alittle creepy..
The museum was not much different compared to the exhibition, it's exhibits were mostly concerning Guang Zhou's time of regime..
Exhibits within..
this only section of the museum was the interesting part.. aside from showing the history of guang zhou, it shows the different types meteorites , minerals and fossils collected in that region over the years
with all that done, we started heading for the exit.. as we didn't have breakfast nor lunch since morning, we decided to head back to a shopping mall for brunch. We did a little shopping and stopped at haagen diaz.. the price difference there was measly.. we decided to plan for the next trip while indulging.
We decided to hop on the public train for experience sake.
didn't take much photos, but when we enter the train carriage, everyone was looking at us.. guess we really do stand out like tourist in a Chinese country.. felt a little uncomfortable.. but.. what the hey.. we're already been stared down so many times..
We travelled around till late afternoon, where we took a cab back to the apartment.
Waited for the rest to get back. Had dinner (Chinese cuisine) and headed back for another night of watching shows and packing the house..
ended up sleeping on the floor again...
frankly.. it's the same as the hotel's hard bed..
ah..well ;)
till then...
